As Winter hits us with another round of polar winds, I wonder if Spring is on its way. The good news is that it surely is. Spring is coming and so is the very first Walk of Hope to MICHIGAN!!! I’m so excited to share with you what my new connections have yielded.

This is a partnership that is pregnant with possibilities. I wanted to make an impact with our community that is often hidden in plain sight. I figured what better way to bring awareness to the infertility community than to have a public event and a walk is perfect.

After investigating my options, I decided that working with RESOLVE would multiply the impact I could make in this effort. They suggested a super volunteer, Sue Johnston, and we have set out to put Detroit on the map during National Infertility Awareness Week. Sue is has agreed to serve as Co-Chair along with me and we are planning to provide a wonderful event Saturday, April 27, 2019.

We are working to make this Walk of Hope special for those who are members of the infertility community and informative for those who support us on our journeys. We are presenting special activities to encourage those who feel like they are failing and to offer hope to those who have lost it all. We are excited to present those with miracle stories and to introduce professionals who can aid in moving past our physical obstacles.

This is an event that you don’t want to miss and I invite you to plan to make an impact by registering, donating, and creating a team! I’d love to wrap my arms around you and lift you up. Please give me that chance and meet in me at Tolan Park Saturday, April 27th. Visit give.classy.org/detroitWOH for more details. If you still have questions, email me directly at hopeinfertility@mail.com.

HOPE-Filled Thought: The LORD has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes. Psalm 118:23 NIV

Prayer: Thank You Lord, that you lead us and guide us for our own good, for our purpose, and for the good of others. Have your way in the Walk of Hope and empower us to be witnesses of your eternal love as we prepare to join together on this day. We receive with it joy and it is so. Amen.
